Today The Furrball

soaked up the sun,

ate some Beecher's "Flagship" cheddar,

watched the birds fly by,

posed on one of his porches,

enjoyed a harness-free yard adventure,

and breathed his last.

We miss him terribly.

God's blessings upon you and everyone who knew Furrball as you mourn his death.

I think it speaks volumes about all of you that you could make that final day one of grace and joy, even in the face of death.

What a good friend and companion he has been to you both. I know you gave him such a wonderful life and made his last days so sweet. Gentleness to you both as you move through this season of loss.

These are beautiful pictures of his last day with you both. I'm sad he is no longer with you and know that you all went through a lot of suffering together.

Hi Laura,

Enjoyed reading your blogs....and am so happy that you are writing and blogging. It's a wonderful, creative flow.

Sad to hear about your kitty. He seemed really special, and I'm glad that you guys had such a good and gentle spirit in your lives in which to share some of your days.

I'm living in Maine now. Steve and I are no longer together. I do think of you both often with happy thoughts, and wish you well. Thank you to Phil for keeping in touch. - Kelly
